  • Definitely a great place to get your hair done. The staff is beyond friendly and the prices are reasonable as well. They just reopened not too long ago so if you are looking for salon quality work, for school prices, and do not care for the usual chaos/ crazyness of most beauty schools I would definitely suggest this place for you.

Customer service from the instructor himself was horrendous. He placed an ad on Craigslist for models with specific type of hair and requested a picture in exchange for a free haircut (by its students) as well as lunch and a compensation of $20. I called to confirm prior to coming and he stated a call back immediately once he got a time for my son (the model) to come in. However, we never received that phone call yet the receptionist told us to go ahead and come in as advertised. So upon arrival, were offered cold pizza, a shared 2-liter Mountain Dew and two hour wait and still left with no haircut because the instructor felt like he didn't like my attitude. So he quickly handed over a $20, which he never intended to give because the last student, instead of using my son, decided that he would rather take a random stranger off the street (in front of us) because said random stranger did not know about the advertisement mentioned so he tried to play it off as if my son wasn't needed and he was doing us a favor by giving us a haircut. (even though when he was teaching said student; he nipped the stranger under the chin and they didn't really cut it how stranger wanted it) I. E. Stranger wanted sheer cuts and not a cut with clippers but they insisted and proceeded to ignore the customer. He states that he isn't a representative of the Dudley company however any company of theirs is a representation period. He was overall rude, took over students (as they were cutting) and showed lack of empathy for one's time. I am very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to go there. The instructor's name was Mr. Lou and if I had the option to rate the visit a zero, that's what I would've selected instead. So if you're looking for an amazing experience; please visit Bess Cuts on W. Market instead. They are very welcoming, personable, prices are reasonable and the whole crew is deeply involved with the community. Thank you for reading and stay blessed!
